On arrival, we were greeted with a very warm welcome at Shieldaig Lodge. the hotel has recently undergone impressive renovations, and it truly shows. the location is stunning, offering breathtaking views. the attention to detail in the decor and the comfortable, home-like atmosphere made us feel like we had stepped back in time to the era of grand hotels. the gardens, complete with outdoor chess and croquet, were a beautiful addition to our stay. the table dote menu was initially daunting, but the hosts proved their expertise by serving us a fabulous meal made with high-quality Scottish produce. the bar was equally impressive, offering a wide selection of whiskys and gins. Our bedroom was filled with gorgeous antiques and provided a comfortable night's sleep. we were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back for a longer stay. This is also an ideal venue for special occasions such as Christmas, New Year, or weddings.

I had the most incredible stay at Shieldaig Lodge. The setting was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was the delicious dinner, especially the French Onion soup made by Chef Jerome. The walk to the Fairy Lochs was a fascinating and unique experience. Despite the poor phone network and WIFI, it was actually refreshing to be cut off from the outside world. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
