Our family room was spacious and clean, with charming furniture. the staff were incredibly helpful, quickly resolving a small issue with our room key. the double bed was very comfortable, and we all had a great night's sleep. the highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast, with piping hot, high-quality, self-serve options. We will definitely stay at Heworth Inn again when we visit.

The staff were lovely, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, with ample storage and a substantial desk. The breakfast was delicious, cooked freshly to order and served with generous portions. The hotel's location, not far from the old city walls and the nearest city gate, was easily accessible and had great private parking. We enjoyed spending time in the beautiful beer garden, especially when the sun was shining.

The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the city walls, making it easy to explore the area. We also loved the food at the hotel, it was of excellent quality and the atmosphere was superb. the room we stayed in was spacious and even better than the photos we saw online. the complimentary amenities such as hot chocolate, coffee, and biscuits made us feel very welcome.

The service during breakfast could have been better organized. On one occasion, we had to wait for 45 minutes for our order to be served.

They even provided me with a TV remote when I realized it was missing, and went the extra mile to find me a cup in the early hours of the morning. The room may have had its flaws, such as drafty windows and a missing bathmat, but the staff's prompt actions made up for any inconvenience. I would recommend this hotel for their exceptional service and willingness to make their guests feel at home.

there were no teaspoons in the room for the tea/coffee facilities. there was some dust around the skirtings.
