Our room was so quaint and cosy, and the sleek and modern bathroom was jaw-dropping. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and their English was excellent. The food at the restaurant was top-notch, especially the homemade cream of asparagus soup. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds, and the breakfast spread had an extensive selection. The wifi worked perfectly, and the hotel even had an on-site car park. The bar/lounge area was a great spot to relax, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. The laundry service was a convenient perk, and the flat-screen TV in our room was a bonus. The lift made it easy to access our floor, and having an electric kettle and cookware in the room was handy. The express check-in/-out option was efficient, and the children's menu at breakfast was a thoughtful addition. I stayed at a hotel in the outskirts of Ulm called Engel. The location was excellent, near a motorway junction and a few miles from the city center. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant had wonderful food and drinks at reasonable prices. I particularly enjoyed dining on the terrace in the evening and morning. The hotel also had its own parking facilities, which was convenient for us as we were traveling by car. Additionally, the breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of options and delicious homemade marmalades.

Smoking in the bar area was allowed, which was not a pleasant experience, especially for non-smokers like myself. Though it wasn't unbearable, the smell of smoke did reach the bar counter, detracting from the overall experience.
