Had a fantastic New Year's break at a lovely cottage. the cozy farmhouse feel was just what we were looking for, and the quiet location allowed us to unwind and relax. We also loved the fact that the cottage was well-decorated and had a comfortable atmosphere. the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the location of the cottage was ideal, situated between two popular cities, making it easy to explore the surrounding attractions.

Dislikes and Worst Aspects: However, it would have been better if the cottage was further away from the busy road as the noise from passing traffic disturbed our sleep at times.

We had a fantastic stay at Skipbridge Farm Cottages! The quirky cottage with a hot tub was worth every penny, and the grounds were perfect for exploring with our little one. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was wonderful, allowing us to easily visit nearby attractions like Knaresborough, Whitby, and York.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety and options to choose from.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, cozy cottage. the quaint small farm house feel was perfect for a relaxing getaway. the location was ideal, with a short drive to both York and Harrogate. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with everything we needed for a cozy night by the log burner. the communication with Gill was excellent, and overall it was a brilliant find. I would definitely recommend and consider staying here again in the future.

The self check-in process was perfect for me as I had a reactive dog and needed space. I also discovered a private dog field nearby, which was a great bonus. it was a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent communication from the staff.

Lovely nearby pub for amazing food. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, clean throughout, comfortable sofas.

the check-in and check-out times were unreasonable, causing unnecessary stress. However, the cottage itself had a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and was clean and quaint. The owners were helpful and the beds reasonably comfortable. Despite these positives, the overall experience was marred by the noisy surroundings and lack of outdoor space.

The cottage at Skipbridge Farm was well situated for the park and ride, making it easy and inexpensive to get into York. The property was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities needed for a short or long stay. The beds were comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The cottage had a good-sized TV and a lovely sun trap conservatory. There was ample car parking space available. We enjoyed the company of hens, cats, and a peacock that lived together happily. The staff we encountered were friendly and informative. We also highly recommend the local Chinese takeaway.
