I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was simply beautiful, nestled in a lovely area with lots of history to explore. The service was top-notch, with friendly and professional staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed including ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning. I especially loved the sitting area where I could relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great facilities in a modern hotel. An ideal location for city breaks, with comfortable and clean rooms. Food was good with fairly priced menus. the staff gave a warm welcome and were helpful to guests, adding to the comfortable atmosphere.

Some areas of the hotel lacked attentive staff or had staff with insufficient knowledge. Room location and the view could be improved to enhance the guest experience.

The hotel was conveniently located near the motorway, making it ideal for business travelers. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, especially the breakfast options. The lounge/bar area was spacious and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. It was great to have separate space for the kids in the room layout.

The language used by some wedding guests in the restaurant on the evening before the wedding was offensive and disruptive.

The value for money at Smiths At was fantastic - spacious rooms, comfy lounge/bar area, and friendly staff. The location was convenient for our journey north, making it a handy stopover.

We loved the hotel's cleanliness and stylish design. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel facilities, including the on-site spa and hairdressers, were excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation links and the nearby Gretna shop and Blacksmith shop.

our stay at gretna green was wonderful, but our recent stay at smiths at was truly exceptional. from the stunning views and friendly staff to the top-quality food and luxurious penthouse apartment, every detail exceeded our expectations. the jacuzzi in the bathroom was a highlight, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. it was an amazing experience overall.

One thing was missing - outdoor seating.

Had a short but lovely stay at Smith's. Perfect location with plenty of parking. The hotel was clean and our room was lovely. The staff were polite and accommodating. Good value for money.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, especially being so close to the black Smith shop, which allowed us to explore the area easily. The restaurant was another highlight, with a faultless dining experience and a low key atmosphere. The room we stayed in, the penthouse, was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and the breakfast had a great variety of options. We also enjoyed the view from our room, which added to the overall pleasant stay.

The dinner experience was a little disappointing. The seabass and vegetables were cooked well, but one item was undercooked to the point of being inedible.
