Loved the walkable location, helpful hosts, convenient luggage storage, great breakfasts, close to shops and banks, short walk to Tourist Information Centre and Viking Bus Station.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location was great, just a short walk away from the town centre and not far from supermarkets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the water. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with a map and marking out all the places of interest. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, setting us up for a day of exploring. a fantastic experience.

That the TV reception in the room was not great, but it was a minor issue compared to all the positives of our stay.

During my recent stay at Solheim Guest House, I had a wonderful time exploring the charming town of Lerwick. The location of the guest house was perfect, allowing me to easily walk around and discover the area. My single room was small but cozy, with a lovely view of the street and the ocean. It had everything I needed, including a convenient sink in the room. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, and the comfortable mattress and bed linen ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfasts were excellent and made to order, providing a delicious start to each day.

The breakfast and cleanliness were great at this hotel during my business trip. There were a lot of options available, including a cooked breakfast, which was a plus. The location was convenient and close to a bus stop, making it easy to get around. Plus, the room was spacious and offered enough space to move around freely.

There were some negative aspects to my stay. The hotel did not have a receptionist upon arrival, which made check-in difficult.

solheim guest house was an amazing choice for my longer stay in lerwick. the friendly hosts, superb breakfast, and comfortable room exceeded my expectations. i felt like i had my own personal tour guide with the helpful information they provided. will definitely return!

First off, the location of this hotel is fantastic. It's not far from the centre of Lerwick, making it convenient for exploring the town and enjoying the local amenities. I also appreciated that it's close to supermarkets, so grabbing any essentials was a breeze. Additionally, being away from a coastal path meant I experienced a peaceful and quiet stay, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff here were exceptional, going above and beyond to make me feel like one of the family. They provided me with all the information I needed to make the most of my stay, acting as my personal tour guide. The attention to detail in the rooms was superb, with a sea view that was just breathtaking. And despite the initial impression of the room being small, it quickly transformed into a cozy and comfortable space with all the practical conveniences I could ask for.

All in all, everything was just ok.

I recently stayed at the Solheim Guest House for a few nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The central location allowed me to easily explore all the sights and shops on foot. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. The breakfast spread was superb with a wide variety of options to choose from. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel like part of the family. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
