had a fantastic summer stay at this charming country hotel in newton-le-willows. Kirkfield exceeded expectations with friendly staff, spacious rooms, comfy beds, and a lively bar atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and the area was relaxing. A truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Noisy street and lack of quiet areas.

The hotel is in a great location, with our favorite Chinese restaurant just across the road and close to both Saint Helens and Manchester. The staff were very friendly and the accommodation was super clean. The pub and restaurant had a lovely garden and the food was of good quality. The big and comfortable beds made for a great night's sleep.

The bathroom was basic and poorly finished, with just a shower in the bath. The room also lacked some amenities, such as a fridge and fresh milk for the coffee and tea.

I recently stayed at The Kirkfield Hotel for the second time in less than a week, and it was my 5th overall stay. The staff, especially Rachel, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is well-appointed, and the breakfast menu is the best I've ever had. The lunch and dinner menus were also excellent, with a good selection of real ales. I appreciated the live bands and performers, even though I didn't get to see them. The beer garden was a nice touch, and the hotel's proximity to the railway station was convenient. The staff always go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, even printing my boarding passes. The Kirky truly feels like a home away from home.

A charming old building with rustic modern interiors situated on a quiet village high street. Our room was spotless, with a big comfortable bed, and the staff were excellent throughout. The breakfast menu offered a great range and choice. The location was excellent, with Haydock race course just five minutes away.

The lack of parking, but we were able to park for free in the church car park across the road.

I had a fantastic stay at this local hotel. the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Secondly, the rooms were simple but very comfortable, with an excellent bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Lastly, the location was perfect, as it was so close to the train station and just opposite the church.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was so close to the train station, making it easy to get to and from the concert in Manchester. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to catch a taxi from Liverpool without any hassle. The church across the road added a charming element to the surroundings, and there were some lovely walking distance restaurants nearby.

The fire doors in the hotel were sometimes a little loud when closing, which resulted in occasional disturbances during the night.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Despite a bit of noise from the bar below, I found the room to be comfortable and the bed was nice. The shower was also great, with a direct shower head and a waterfall option. The B&B is situated near some lovely restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place for its value for money, breakfast, and excellent location.
