Fantastic Hospitality

We had a last-minute one-night stay at St George's Hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful service we received. Kamilla, who assisted us over the phone, was exceptionally kind and made us feel welcome from the start. The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of York, right next to the racecourse, offering a quiet spot with easy access to the city. The parking facility at the property was a plus. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom with a shower was also nice and clean. The breakfast, which was made-to-order and accompanied by a variety of self-serve options, was outstanding. The lady serving breakfast was very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. we can't fault our experience at St George's Hotel and we would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for providing such a pleasant stay.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with clear instructions and a friendly welcome note. the room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities, including a good TV and hot drink facilities. the bathroom was unblemished and great for our needs. We also enjoyed the location of the hotel, being situated in a nice area with easy access to the sights of the city.

The breakfast service was lacking. the staff struggled to keep up with demand, resulting in a long wait for some guests and cold food for others.
