We had a fantastic stay at the perfect stopover in a lovely old building. The coffee was delicious and the host, Hugh, provided us with great suggestions to make the most out of our time in the area. The location on the main street with free parking was also a plus. The room was clean and comfortable with a spacious en-suite bathroom. The free WiFi worked well and we had no issues connecting. we highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of town. It was super convenient, being right above a great restaurant and close to all the shops. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the facilities provided everything I needed. Plus, there was plenty of parking available, which was a big relief. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home.

We had a fantastic weekend at this hotel! the room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with lovely stone walls that added a charming touch. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. One of the best things about this hotel was its central location. We were able to park our car for free and explore the surrounding area with ease. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, making it convenient for dining options. the owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and provided us with a lot of helpful information about the area and its facilities. the Wi-Fi was also reliable, which was a bonus.

While our overall stay was wonderful, there were a couple of minor downsides to our experience. it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room rather than a communal machine in the hallway.

The room was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and the central location made it easy to access pubs, shops, and cafes. The scenery in the area is breathtaking, and the locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the best parts of the stay was the corner house pub, where the staff, especially Michelle and Dougie, were fantastic and provided a warm welcome. Additionally, the nearby cafe ca Dora was highly recommended for both breakfast and evening meals.

The lack of a kettle in the room, although there was a machine in the foyer to use. Another minor issue was the thin walls which allowed sounds from other guests to be heard, such as alarms going off at all hours of the morning, lengthy conversations from 3-5am, and loud telephone conversations.
