We had a fantastic stay at Storrs Hall for our Silver Wedding Anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience special, and the restaurant served the best meal my husband has ever had. The room was spacious with a beautiful lake view, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The location right on Lake Windermere was perfect, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife on the lawn outside. Highly recommend!

We definitely got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious with a stunning view of Lake Windermere. The location was perfect, close to the lake and with beautiful views from the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially Fred who helped us retrieve a lost ring. We can't wait to go back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel in a stunning area of Bowness. The location of this place is simply breathtaking, as it is situated right on the lake and surrounded by beautiful grounds. The views from both the dining area and my room were absolutely spectacular, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right on the banks of Lake Windermere. The views are beautiful and the hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was newly refurbished and gorgeous, with modern amenities like a TV in the bathroom and an amazing shower. The food at the hotel restaurant was out of this world, even meeting the high standards of my chef husband who works at a Michelin star restaurant. Breakfast was also lovely. a great location for a quiet and romantic getaway.

Stayed at Storrs Hall for a short getaway and loved it! Parking close to reception, well-maintained with period pieces and art, calming atmosphere, stunning views of Windermere, plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly and polite staff, delicious food, and fascinating history. Thank you, everyone!

The views from the dining area and our room were absolutely gorgeous, overlooking the lake. the room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom. the staff were friendly and gave us great dining recommendations. the ambience in and around the hotel was also great.

The location of the hotel wasn't the greatest, as it was a bit far from town and required a car to get around. Additionally, the restaurant menu didn't look appealing, so we ended up eating all our meals elsewhere.

I recently stayed at Storrs Hall in Bowness-on-Windermere for a weekend getaway. The setting, room, and location were excellent. The views across the lake were amazing, and the breakfast in the sun room overlooking the lake was delightful. The selection of cereals, fruits, and danishes was very good, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The hotel's ambience and location were superb, and the two dinners we had were delicious and plentiful. The beautiful rooms, stunning views, tasty breakfast, and friendly staff made our stay exceptional.

Spent a wonderful Christmas at a charming lakeside hotel. the outstanding lake view was truly breathtaking, and the cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. the staff were friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming environment. the location was perfect, with beautiful gardens and easy access to nearby attractions.
