We had a fantastic romantic getaway in the countryside. the room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a peaceful retreat. the breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of fresh, high-quality ingredients. We also loved the pub atmosphere and enjoyed the tasty meals and generous portions. the friendly staff made us feel welcome and were always attentive to our needs.

The bathroom in our room was on the smaller side and could use some improvements. the lack of a proper place to store toiletries was inconvenient.

The location is perfect, especially for those planning to climb Scafell Pike. The locally brewed beer was delicious, and the pub grub was just what we needed after a long day of hiking. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Strands Inn & Micro Brewery in Nether Wasdale. As youngsters, we appreciated the comfortable and cosy rooms, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The highlight for us was the on-site micro-brewery, with a great selection of home-brewed ales. We also enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast and meals in the pub, made with locally sourced ingredients. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Wasdale valley.

Lovely stay in a charming countryside hotel. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food, especially the Low Flyer beer from the micro brewery, was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway. I had a great time and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
