I recently stayed at Swan House for a short trip and I had a wonderful experience. The side entrance to the hotel led to a stunning courtyard filled with beautiful vines and creepers. The bar, although closing early, had a cozy atmosphere with a wood burning stove. The internal furnishings were attractive and reflected the inn's interesting history. The room was lovely with a fridge, balcony, en-suite, and a unique mirror. There were plenty of plug points conveniently located near the bed and mirrors. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I even received a room upgrade and a surprise breakfast in my room.

The location was perfect for exploring the area, being centrally located in a historic building. Although there were a few inconveniences, such as a tiny shower room and creaky floorboards, these were minor compared to the overall positive experience. The friendly owners and the thoughtful touches, like a fridge stocked with yogurts and fruit, added to our enjoyment. we highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Lastly, we were impressed by the attention to detail, with free toiletries, an electric kettle, and even board games available for our enjoyment.

Great location for exploring the town and beyond. the nearby historical church is a must-see. the staff were welcoming and polite, it created a homey feeling. Plus, the food served in the nearby restaurant was super tasty - ideal for Easter celebrations.

The access to the hairdryer was awkwardly located, meaning guests had to walk outside to retrieve another one. They really could've done better by arranging it inside the room.

Gorgeous rooms with lots of character, comfortable, clean, and equipped with large flat-screen TVs and ensuite bathrooms with baths. Staff were friendly and helpful. Located in a lovely area for exploring Suffolk. The pub attached to the accommodation is delightful.

During one night, the room did get quite hot, but fortunately, opening a window solved the problem. I also would have liked if the pub served evening meals, but given the current circumstances, I understand why they couldn't.
