Great central location next to the train station, perfect for my rail enthusiast partner. Room 5 had a lovely big bathroom and a quiet atmosphere despite the trains. the pub offered a good selection of real ales, and the friendly landlady made us feel at home. Staff were helpful and the room was modern yet cozy, with a supremely comfortable bed. Excellent customer service and a wonderful stay.

The location is ideal, near the train station which was exactly what I needed. the room, though not luxurious, was clean and comfortable for £130 in a 'deluxe room'. the decor was pleasant, and the shower was excellent.

The hotel lacks adequate soundproofing, as noise from nearby venues disturbed guests' sleep.

In the heart of everything, the central location was a blessing. Venturing out was as easy as picking flowers in a garden. Walking distance to everywhere made us feel like we had our wings clipped and were free to fly closer to heaven.

The noise level from nearby clubs and bars was extremely high, and made it difficult to get a peaceful night's rest. the room was not as clean as we would have liked, with some soap residue and hairs in the bathroom.

Our room was clean and had a lovely spacious bathroom. The staff at Swan & Railway Hotel were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help me when I had a fraud issue with my card. The location was perfect for us, as we were attending a gig. The hotel is pet-friendly, which was a bonus for us. The staff even offered to charge our phones at the bar when the plugs in our room fused. I would recommend this hotel for its great facilities and helpful staff.
