We had a delightful stay in the Patience Swinfen Room, which had a stunning view of the deer park. The room was spacious, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. The hotel staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips on the bar/terrace menu. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room we were given was large and had stunning views. We also appreciated the coffee machine in our room, which provided us with fabulous coffee in the mornings. The grounds were stunning and we couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely return here.

The location was superb with jaw-dropping views. the staff were SUPER FRIENDLY and accommodating. the rooms were top-notch, clean, and comfy, complete with fresh fruit, water, coffee maker. the Games room, although unexpected, was a unique and fun surprise, perfect for a stag party. the property and grounds were stunning, giving us a feeling of having the place to ourselves. The decor is absolutely magnificent, creating a manor house feel. The surroundings are serene, with opportunities to see deer. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and well-lit, with a great powerful shower. The breakfast offers a range of both conventional and gourmet choices. The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Water, tea, and coffee facilities are available, along with delicious shortbread biscuits.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I knew it was something special. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was beautiful. the highlight of my stay was the outstanding service from Young James at dinner - a young man with a very bright future. the spacious bedroom was clean and comfortable, and the freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. I even got to explore the hotel's own deer park.

De locatie was ideaal, vlakbij het centraal station en recht tegenover het plein. We konden gemakkelijk naar het chocolademuseum gaan, wat zeker een aanrader is. De kamer was ruim en netjes, met een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en mooi gepresenteerd. We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf.

Helaas kon de thermokraan in de douche niet naar behoren werken, wat erg frustrerend was.

Soft bed, tiny flat screen TV. Our only issue was with the bed, which was too soft and caused us to roll into the middle. Also, the flat screen TV was too small and seemed lost in the large room. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for a romantic getaway.
