I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel in Oban. the location was perfect - right in the centre of town, making it easy to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to provide helpful tips and recommendations, ensuring I made the most of my time in the area. Additionally, the room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. Lastly, having breakfast included was a great bonus, saving time and money in the mornings.

All in all, everything was great during my stay at this hotel.

Central location, spacious room, extra toiletries provided, husband loved the coffee. Efficient and prompt communication for late arrival. Quiet room with comfy beds, on-site parking. An eventful stay with mix-ups, but not the hosts' fault. Would stay again under a different name.

We had a great stay at a well-located guest house near the ferry terminal and seafront shops and restaurants. the rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a kettle, tea and coffee, iron and ironing board, and even a local tourist guide. We found the organization of the property to be spot-on, with clear instructions for payment and check out. Despite the shared toilet, having a sink in the room was very convenient. the twin room was compact but quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Tanglin Guest House provided good value for money, and we were pleasantly surprised by its well-equipped rooms.

The twin room is small but quiet, with comfortable beds. The ensuite bathroom, although small, is convenient and has a good shower with hot water.

The self-service breakfast, which was not good value for money at £6.00 each. It was of indifferent quality and there were no staff on premises to assist.

Highly recommend taking the ferry to Mull, but avoid Sundays as there is no bus service to Tobermory. Not sure if this applies year-round. Eiduhl, the host, was incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations for dining and activities. Spacious, quiet room with comfortable beds. Conveniently located within walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient central location for walking to ferries, restaurants, and shops. Quick access to the highway when traveling north. Clean rooms with attentive staff who replenished supplies and emptied bins daily. No noise from other guests. The friendly owners are dedicated to upgrading the property.

I recently had an amazing stay at a guest house in a great location near the harbour. the host, Eilidh, was extremely helpful with recommendations for places to visit during my stay. the room was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed. I especially loved the fresh coffee provided. the guest house also had a lot of helpful literature about local attractions and dining options. It was just a short walk into town, which was very convenient. I would definitely book here again and highly recommend it to others.

I recently stayed at a guest house in Oban and had a great experience. The staff at Tanglin were friendly and welcoming, and the room was spacious, quiet, and had comfortable beds. The location was convenient, within walking distance of everything. I particularly loved the little touches like the biscuits in the coffee tray and the availability of a caffetiere and crystal wine glasses. I would definitely return to this guest house in the future.
