Arriving at the hotel felt like stumbling into a warm, inviting family gathering—if that family were slightly disorganized and had a penchant for delightful breakfast spreads! the range of options at breakfast was akin to being presented with an all-you-can-eat buffet at a celebratory feast—everything from cereal to a full English breakfast was available, making each morning an exciting culinary adventure!

the food was amazing, especially the tapas and steak and ale pie. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spotlessly clean, with fresh bedding and a huge ensuite bathroom. the location was quiet, perfect for exploring the stunning Northumberland countryside. Breakfast was a highlight, boasting a variety of options and excellent coffee, all served by a cheerful lady.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner with good quality food that exceeded our expectations. the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and the hotel is in a great location for exploring North Northumberland. the garden is pleasant and the hotel is quiet at night.
