I recently had the pleasure of staying at this place and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The location in Ugbourough's centre was perfect for exploring the area. The staff here are so friendly and helpful, I couldn't have asked for better customer service. The room amenities were excellent, including tea and coffee facilities and free wi-fi. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was delicious and the staff catered to my every need.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The Anchor Inn in Devon provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, especially on a wet and windy evening. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find a cozy room that offered respite from the driving rain. The food at the restaurant, both for dinner and breakfast, was exceptional, with a hearty roast lamb being a stand-out choice. Situated near Dartmoor in a peaceful village, it offered a tranquil escape. The staff were attentive and accommodating, making our stay feel like a true getaway.

Had a lovely Xmas stay at this charming inn! the rooms were modern and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. the restaurant served delicious meals, both for dinner and breakfast. the location was perfect for exploring the South Hams area and visiting nearby towns like Modbury and Kingsbridge. A great advantage was the friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

While the rooms were lovely, the walls were quite thin, so we could hear conversations from neighboring rooms. the noise from the bar could be a bit loud, especially on weekends.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location in the restaurant on the Saturday night was perfect, as it was just off the town square in the centre of the village. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The breakfast served until 10am was tasty, especially the full English option. The hotel had a pleasing environment and was tastefully decorated. the staff were pleasant and the service was efficient. the location of the hotel was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Plus, the food served at the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.

The walls were a bit thin, which meant that noise from neighboring rooms could be heard. the blinds in the rooms were not sufficient in blocking out light, as they were more decorative than functional.

We had an amazing time at Anchor Inn during our New Year stay. The staff, especially Vicky, were fantastic and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The chef's food was simply divine, and we couldn't get enough of it. The location of the pub was perfect for exploring the national park and Brixham Harbour. We would definitely recommend Anchor Inn to our friends, as it offered superb value for money. Thank you, Vicky, for making our New Year great!
