We had a very enjoyable break at The Angel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with easy access to shops, pubs, and restaurants. The bar area was great, although the large TV could have been smaller to free up more space. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend The Angel for a pleasant stay.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of a picturesque town. the food was delicious and the staff were helpful, even arranging an early check-in. the room was comfortable and clean, with nice amenities like bottled water and toiletries.

The carpets and general areas of the hotel looked worn and in need of updating. There were some temperature issues in the rooms, with one being noticeably colder than the other.

I had a charming stay at a lovely hotel in a picturesque town. The room had unique quirks like uneven floors and a rustic fireplace, adding to its character. The bathroom had everything I needed. I didn't have breakfast, but the meal in the bar was delicious, with starters of Black Pudding and Smoked Mackerel, followed by Beer Battered Haddock and Halloumi & Avocado Salad. The location in the market square was excellent. Despite a few minor drawbacks like a noisy dog and abrupt service, I had an enjoyable time. I highly recommend this hotel for its charm, location, and tasty food.

Quaint atmosphere and cozy fireplace in our room added a nice touch. the pub had a good selection of beer and the food was decent. the location was a plus as we were able to walk to nearby attractions.

The bed linen and towels seemed worn out and in need of replacement. Unfortunately, breakfast was overpriced for what was offered.

The room, although a bit compact, was clean and comfortable. We were particularly impressed with the delicious evening meal we had in the restaurant. The staff were accommodating and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel for its great location, tasty food, and welcoming atmosphere.

I recently stayed at a hotel located right in the centre of the village, with free car parking available. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a spacious bathroom. The service provided by the staff was impeccable, they were genuinely attentive and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious, and there was even a big open fire in the bar area, creating a cozy atmosphere. the location and facilities provided a great experience for my stay.

I did notice that the restaurant was a little soulless and lacked diners, which affected the overall ambiance.

I recently stayed at The Angel for a 2-night wedding anniversary break. The 600-year-old property is steeped in history, which added to the charm of our stay. The staff were amazing, providing warm welcomes and going out of their way to make our stay special. The food in the restaurant was Michelin star-worthy, with beautiful presentation and flavors. The atmosphere was superb, and our last day breakfast surprise with balloons, flowers, and prosecco was a lovely touch. The quaint rooms and perfect location added to the overall experience.
