The Bankfoot Inn is a great place to base yourself for exploring the highlands. Located in a traditional village, it offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with excellent hot showers. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing a personal touch to your stay. In the pub, you can spend the evening chatting with other guests until last orders. There are also other little villages nearby to visit, adding to the charm of the location.

The breakfast options could have been better communicated, as there seemed to be confusion regarding where it should be consumed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Bankfoot Inn. The delicious food, particularly the Friday night 'take away' specials, left me satisfied and eager for more. I appreciated that they accommodated my dog and allowed us to dine in the bar. The nearby self-contained apartment was perfect for our needs and the locals were friendly. I highly recommend this charming establishment.

The noise from the pub below was quite loud until late at night, which was difficult for light sleepers. the shower's unusual placement in the bedroom may not appeal to everyone.
