Conveniently located property with excellent access to the city. Helpful staff and clear instructions. Good variety of nearby dining options, including a popular café and a highly recommended Indian restaurant. Comfortable rooms with ample bathroom facilities. Will definitely return next year.

We had a great stay at the Barbican in York. The value for money was excellent, with a comfortable and clean room equipped with all the necessary facilities including a dishwasher and washing machine. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything we wanted to see and do, with tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. The staff was fantastic, especially Bruce, who gave us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed.

The only thing that could have made our stay even better was if the hotel breakfast had more variety.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at The Barbican in York. The location couldn't have been better - central to all tourist attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. The spacious flat on Fossgate was perfect for us, and having parking included in the nearby Q-Park car park was a huge plus. The fact that they also had electric vehicle charging available in the car park was a great convenience. We loved the variety of cafes right at our doorstep for breakfast, and the apartment itself was clean and well-maintained. The bedrooms were comfortable, and having three toilets and two showers was a bonus. The kitchen and lounge were well equipped, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, being located within walking distance of most tourist attractions and easy to find from the train station was extremely convenient. Finally, the overnight quiet on the street below ensured a peaceful night's sleep.

We felt very welcome during our stay at The Barbican in York, and there really wasn't any reason for us to complain.
