the room was impeccably clean and had a spacious layout, giving it a traditional old-world feel. I particularly loved the view from the window, which overlooked a picturesque cobbled street. the bathroom was also impressive, with plenty of space and a luxurious shower. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, providing clear explanations about everything, including fire safety. it was a nice room with a lovely bathroom and situated in a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

I recently stayed at the Barley Sheaf for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was superb, right next to Truro Cathedral and within walking distance of several pubs, restaurants, and shops. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast was really good, and I especially enjoyed the new outside terrace overlooking the river. The room was spotless and had a traditional, old-world feel with its charming window overlooking the cobbled street. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was refreshing. I highly recommend the Barley Sheaf and will definitely stay here again.

Just returned from my second stay at Barley Sheaf in Truro and once again it was an excellent experience. The staff were friendly, efficient, and made my stay comfortable. The rooms were spotless and serviced daily. The pub served top-notch food and drink, with a great selection of cask ales. The riverside terrace was a lovely place to relax. The central location was perfect and I had no issues with noise. It's also a popular music venue on weekends. This is definitely the best place to stay in Truro.

The location was excellent, just a few minutes away from the train and bus stations, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas of Cornwall. Despite being next to the Cathedral, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Adjacent to the hotel, there was a little river, adding to the charm. Additionally, being attached to a pub, there was an outside area that was secluded and relaxing. The hotel was also conveniently located close to restaurants, making it easy to find places to eat.
