The shower had a temperature issue, ranging from scalding hot to a weak and insufficient cold stream. Limited parking available, which resulted in a frustrating experience.

We arrived at the hotel and were immediately greeted by friendly staff at the front desk. The location of the hotel was perfect for our en route stopover, as it was just outside Bedford town center. Upon entering our lovely room, we were delighted to find that it was huge and had a beautiful view of the grounds. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast. the hotel provided a pleasant stay with great facilities.

I had a lovely stay at a hotel with a beautiful setting by the riverside. The grounds were pretty and peaceful. The room was comfortable and clean, although a bit cold initially. The waitresses were efficient and attentive, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The food, especially at the evening meals, was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

From the warm welcome drink to the well-appointed room amenities, everything was perfect. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with heating, air conditioning, and a cozy sitting area. I also enjoyed the terrace, where I could relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. The dining experience was delightful, with a restaurant offering a wide range of delicious dishes and a bar/lounge area where I could unwind after a long day. The staff provided excellent customer care, and the special diet menus were a great touch. the service at this hotel was impeccable.

The noise level in the room was unbearable, as the windows were not soundproof and we could hear the traffic from the main road all night. , the shower had a very weak water pressure, making it hard to take a proper shower.

The Kingfisher in Bedford had incredible food and impeccable waiting staff. The location was great and the hotel was beautiful, especially the fenlake suite with its lovely view of the river. The beds were comfortable and it seemed like the rooms had recently been refurbished. Despite there being a wedding party, our room was tucked away at the back and it was so quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. We even had good weather during our stay, which was an added bonus.

The breakfast choices could be improved.
