The Bay Horse, Masham was exceptional! Early check-in, friendly staff, great steak night deal, comfy bed. Close to the brewery. Highly recommend!

stayed at the bay horse in masham before and loved it, but this time was even better! excellent food, great wine choices, and a comfy room with everything we needed. the manager, ben, was super friendly and helpful. best pub we've stayed at on our trip. would definitely come back.

We loved the location of the hotel, right in the heart of this charming town. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a spacious room that exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was delicious, made with high-quality produce, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Plus, we really enjoyed the convenience of being within walking distance of the pub and the superb Vennells restaurant. a fantastic stay!

The location of this budget-friendly pub is perfect, with the Black Sheep Brewery just meters away. The staff here are absolutely amazing and will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The room was comfortable and had some nice little extras. The breakfast was delicious and made with good quality produce. I was sad to leave this charming village and the lovely Bay Horse pub.

The parking situation was a bit inconvenient as there is no private parking available.

The pub is located centrally near the market square in a beautiful area, making it convenient for exploring the surroundings. The staircase to the first-floor rooms is quite steep, which may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

We arrived earlier than expected, but the staff at Bay Horse were still able to accommodate us. The manager was understanding and helpful, despite our oversight with the email. The room was nicely decorated and had a great spread of snacks. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, with each dish we tried being delicious. We would definitely consider returning to Bay Horse in the future.

This city break hotel had some good things going for it. the food was actually pretty tasty, and that was a surprise considering it was a pub hotel. the rooms were also cosy and comfortable, which was nice. the location was also really great, right in the middle of everything, which was convenient for us.

There were a few things that really dragged down our experience. the service here was incredibly slow.

The room was very roomy and had a sofa as well as a large double bed. There was a good size flat screen TV and two good windows that overlook the town square. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was superb. The room had plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, and the breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Would highly recommend.
