The host was welcoming and genuinely interested in her guests. The hotel was well appointed with nice touches like kilner jars of biscuits in each room, sweets in the communal lounge, and blankets and cushions for outside seating. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast choices and quality were top-notch. It truly exceeded my expectations.

Our room was situated by a noisy road, making it difficult to sleep at night. the sound of people coming and going from the room above us was disturbing too.
