We had a comfortable and clean room with a lovely bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The food at the hotel was fantastic, especially the freshly cooked breakfast. The staff were efficient, helpful, and friendly, providing a genuine smile for everyone. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I stayed at The Bear Hotel for a week with my partner and it was a perfect choice. The cottage was centrally located and had a free car park. The hotel reception and bar were just a short walk away, serving delicious food. The cottage was well-stocked with breakfast essentials, making our mornings convenient and enjoyable. The room was clean and the hotel was in a quiet location. The price matched the excellent quality, and I will definitely be returning in the near future with my partner.

Incredibly convenient location - right in the center of town and close to everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel also offers parking, which was a huge plus.

The bed. We had a double bed that felt smaller than usual, and being a four poster made it feel a bit cramped.

The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had a pleasant temperature for a good night's sleep. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming, just as I had expected. the service provided during my meal was efficient and the food was excellent, with the terrine starter and butterfly chicken being particularly enjoyable.

Breakfast was supposed to start at 7am according to the key card, but was actually scheduled for 8am. The lack of communication led to confusion and inconvenience for myself and other guests, resulting in us leaving without breakfast.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel that provided us with a comfortable apartment, giving us the freedom to do what we wanted. The apartment had most of what we needed and the staff were helpful. The location of the hotel was convenient and Cowbridge itself was very lovely with good amenities.

Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a faulty room key and some traffic noise, our experience at this hotel was still very positive. We had a few cleaning issues on arrival, but they were quickly rectified by the excellent receptionist who even offered us a bottle of Prosecco as an apology and reimbursed us for the first night.
