We had an amazing stay at this charming hotel in a pretty village. Great value for money with a spacious, comfortable room and excellent service from the friendly staff.

Breakfast delights, but a bigger portion would have been even more satisfying.

the superior double room was lovely, with a big bathroom and a relaxing bathtub. the breakfast had a good choice of options, and the charming waitress Natalie made the dining experience even more enjoyable. the room was very comfortable and clean, with high-quality bedding, pillows, and towels. the modern bathroom was well-equipped and maintained to a high standard, providing quality toiletries. We appreciated the good range of both continental and cooked breakfast items, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.

We recently stayed at The Bear's Paw for a weekend getaway and were thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely fabulous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The Christmas decorations added a beautiful touch to the already great atmosphere. The bar food was excellent, and we didn't feel the need to look for other dining options. The property itself is stunning, with a well-laid-out layout for relaxing or enjoying a meal. Our room exceeded expectations, with a comfortable bed, stunning views, ample storage, and even a cozy chaise lounge. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a large bath, separate shower, double sinks, and even a TV. The dining experience was excellent, with delicious food and reasonable prices. The staff were professional, friendly, and kept everything clean and tidy. We are already planning our return trip for next year.

The location of the hotel is in a beautiful setting, right next door to a charming church that adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The room we stayed in was a superior double, with a spacious and well-maintained bathroom. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices and the service staff were friendly and accommodating.

The set up in the restaurant was not up to par. The wait time for drinks and food was quite long, and there were some inconsistencies in the quality of the dishes.

I recently stayed at a charming countryside inn, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for our overnight stop during our journey from Cornwall to Scotland. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to our dog, even providing him with a water bowl and dog biscuits. The bedroom was a nice size and the food, both the evening meal and breakfast, was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this dog-friendly stopover with terrific food.

The only improvement I would suggest is to have a wider variety of options for the morning meal. Other than that, everything else was great.

Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed by friendly staff who showed us to our stunning room. the room was decorated with exquisite taste and provided exclusive amenities such as a private hot tub. the garden area was beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful oasis.

The only minor issue was the temperature control in the room, which was slightly tricky to figure out at first. the staff were quick to assist and rectify the problem.

We stayed at Bear's Paw for one night for a Christmas meal with friends/colleagues. Fabulous evening meal, very good breakfast. Beautifully appointed standard double room. Attentive staff, without rushing us. Ewelina had fantastic customer rapport, a credit to the hotel. Nice, tidy, clean room with a comfortable bed. Lovely, spacious, and quiet area to stay for a couple of nights. Excellent breakfast and dinner.
