We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect for our visit to the nearby Chilford Hall vineyard, just a short walk through the beautiful fields. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman behind the bar. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, some of the best we've had in our travels. The chef's skills in the kitchen were stunning, and the quality of the ales and cocktails at the bar were excellent. The cozy bar area with the warm log fire made for a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The plentiful breakfasts were delicious and served with great service.

The furnishings in the bedroom were a bit tired, but overall it was very adequate. It would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast offered every day instead of just on the final day.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is close to the Chilford Hall vineyard. Guests can enjoy a visit to the vineyard and indulge in some excellent wine tastings. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The ensuite bathrooms are also well-fitted and clean. The breakfast served at the hotel is delicious, with a limited but well-cooked full breakfast option available.

We recently stayed at a charming inn near a beautiful vineyard. The motel-style annex provided spacious and nicely decorated rooms, with comfortable beds and good showers. The staff were polite and friendly, even offering to give us a lift to the local vineyard. The breakfast had a good variety of options, and we particularly enjoyed the proper coffee in our room. It was a delightful stay in a picturesque location.

Friendly staff and nice food, super reasonable drink prices, and conveniently close to a nearby vineyard for a visit. The bedroom, although a bit tired, was still very adequate, with super hot water and efficient central heating. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. Although initially offered only a continental breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to be served a delicious cooked breakfast on the final day. The location is perfect for exploring nearby Cambridge. The room itself was fantastic, with a luxurious super king-sized bed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with thoughtful touches like a lock on the bedside cabinet for valuables. The dinner exceeded my expectations, and the breakfast was mind-blowing. This has easily become one of my favorite places to stay, with outstanding food, service, atmosphere, and hospitality. I can't wait to return!

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming inn. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality. the room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly cozy despite the cold weather. the highlight of my stay, however, was the delicious food served at the inn's restaurant. Both the breakfast and evening meals were excellent, and the menu offered a variety of interesting choices. Another thing I loved about the inn was its great location, allowing me to explore the nearby village after enjoying a lovely breakfast. my experience at the Black Bull Inn was fantastic, and I hope to visit again in the future.

Spent Christmas at a cozy countryside inn and the experience was really enjoyable. Loved the log fire in the bar area and the Christmas lights hanging around the pub. A big bonus was the delicious Christmas dinner they served, complete with all the trimmings. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when it came to changing our room due to a minor issue. The bedrooms were warm and well-furnished, making the stay very comfortable.

The rooms were a bit dated and could do with some refurbishment. The bathroom was small and the shower was not as powerful as we would have liked. Plus, there was a leak in the ceiling due to the rain. The location was beautiful but a bit remote, so it was difficult to do anything other than just relax in the pub. enjoyed the experience, but feel it was a little pricey for what was on offer.

We recently stayed at The Black Bull and it has quickly become one of our favorite hotels. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Alex, who made us feel right at home. The bar area was fantastic, with a cozy log fire and a great selection of ales and cocktails, including the delicious Negroni. But the highlight of our stay was the restaurant. The chef's skills in the kitchen were absolutely stunning, and the food was some of the best we've ever had. We can't wait to return and experience it all again. A big thank you to Alex and his team for making our stay so memorable.
