I had the most wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel in Helmsley. The location of this place is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the town. Just a short walk and you're surrounded by all the attractions and charm that Helmsley has to offer. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and maintained, with a lovely garden area where you can relax on the comfortable garden furniture. The room was impeccable, with excellent housekeeping and all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including ironing facilities and an electric kettle. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, providing a delicious welcome drink upon arrival. The dining experience was also top-notch, with a fantastic breakfast cooked to order. the service at this hotel was truly exceptional, making my stay here unforgettable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is a real gem with its charming and historic ambiance. I loved exploring the various corners of the building - there are so many different areas to discover. The location is fantastic, right in the town square, making it perfect for exploring the lovely Yorkshire countryside. The hotel is extremely clean, and despite being dog-friendly, there was no trace of any previous furry guests. The room was spacious with a very comfortable and huge bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower with nice toiletries provided. The breakfast was amazing, with a great choice of both self-serve continental and freshly cooked hot food. I highly recommend trying the eggs Benedict, they were fantastic. The evening meal we had was also fabulous and reasonably priced. It's worth noting that they accept the Blue Light Card for food orders. Our dog was warmly welcomed and allowed at both of our tables. The staff were excellent, especially when I asked to change to a more convenient room location for my elderly mother. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Big, comfortable bed with hot drink options in the room. Clean and spacious with a good range of bathroom amenities.

Additionally, the dinner and cooked breakfast were delicious, and the revamped bar and restaurant rooms created a lovely ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
