The staff, particularly Jill, were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast and evening meal were both delicious, although the hot breakfast could have been served hotter. However, Jill mentioned that they were in the process of getting a new oven installed, so it was understandable. Despite being a Grade 2 listed building without a lift, the stairs were manageable. I highly recommend this charming inn for its friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and excellent location.
