We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were brilliant, they were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs which were the best we've had in years. The hotel facilities were great, with a wonderful outside space perfect for a holiday let. The location was also excellent, with a large village green nearby where we could exercise our dogs. it was a clean and friendly inn with spacious rooms and comfortable beds.

Additionally, the location was perfect, with the beautiful Cheviot hills just a short walk away and the charming Town Yetholm easily accessible across the bridge. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms themselves were cozy and comfortable, with the highlight being the old-style deep bathtubs that provided a much-needed relaxation after a day of exploring. Lastly, the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying, setting us up for the day ahead.

The outside patio area provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a drink in the sunshine. We also appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere of the conservatory, where we could unwind after a long day of exploring. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the hills. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, with plenty of toiletries provided. The service throughout our stay was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast options were varied and delicious. We were impressed with the attention to detail in the room, such as the fluffy towels, ample storage space, and the availability of tea and coffee. the hotel offered a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The wardrobe in the room had limited space for clothes due to the bedding being stored there, which was a minor inconvenience.

had an amazing valentines day stay in kirk yetholm. border hotel surpassed all expectations. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, even helping with a surprise celebration. comfortable room, delicious food, and great location for exploring the countryside.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The food at the hotel was exceptional, both for lunch and dinner. We tried the fish and chips and curry, both of which were delicious. the portions were generous, especially the huge piece of fish! the stick toffee pudding for dessert was the best I've ever had. the beer at the hotel was also great, a perfect way to relax and unwind.

There were no negative aspects of our experience at the hotel. the only minor issue we encountered was that the wine was slightly more expensive than average.

I stayed at a wonderful cottage in an idyllic location near Kelso. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond with their exceptional service. Despite our late arrival due to traffic, the chef prepared a delicious sandwich platter and soup for us. The breakfast was top-notch and gave us the energy for our journey. Additionally, the village green provided a great space to exercise our dogs. I would definitely stay at this charming place again.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel in a picturesque village. the cottage we stayed in was much bigger than expected, with lovely multi-level gardens and big comfortable beds. the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs. the breakfast was delicious with a wide selection available. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to store our belongings at the hotel while we went on a hiking trip. a wonderful experience and we would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely cosy atmosphere in a charming cottage-style hotel. The room was well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and it was impeccably clean. The staff were welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. We were delighted to find that the hotel is dog-friendly, allowing us to have our furry companion with us. The location was also ideal for us as it was the finish line for the Spine Race, where we were waiting for my dad. We enjoyed the hearty meals and appreciated the convenient location.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in the Scottish Borders and enjoyed the picturesque drive to get there. I appreciate their use of locally sourced produce and their tasty desserts. the staff were also quite friendly and helpful, always making sure everything was to our liking.

Sadly, the rooms were not up to par and didn't reflect the price. They were musty and in dire need of an update.
