The RAF Mildenhall Airport felt like my own personal runway for a grand entrance. Freeport Braintree was the perfect distance - just far enough to burn off the calories I gained at the property. Ickworth House made me feel like a posh aristocrat for the day.

Charming hosts and lovely gardens create a welcoming atmosphere Stayed at a historic guest house with welcoming hosts who made us feel like we were staying with friends, sharing local tips and stories. the gardens were beautiful to relax in, and the fresh food and variety at breakfast were delightful. Despite a noisy road and some room issues, the overall experience was enjoyable and memorable.

We had a lovely stay at Bridge Street Historic Guest House. Terry and Lynette were incredibly welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. the rose room was cozy and well-equipped, and we enjoyed relaxing by the fire each night. Breakfast was delicious, with a full English prepared at our preferred time.

Staying at the "Hotel Triplets Entertainment" was like stepping into a fairy tale for families. the owners Terry & Lynn created a magical atmosphere, treating us like part of their own family. the kids adored the animals, and the quirky charm of the place made for an unforgettable experience.

My wife says that clearer room layout for families with kids would be helpful.

super comfy beds - very clean. just a stone's throw from a cozy pub. hosts shared great local tips. food was a highlight - especially Terry's home cooked meals.

Waking up to the charming sounds of the fountain and birds added to the delightful experience. the warm hospitality and quirky charm made our stay unforgettable. the homemade wine was a lovely touch. Despite a shared bathroom arrangement, the atmosphere was welcoming, akin to a family gathering. a memorable and cozy stay.

Terry and Lynette were absolutely amazing hosts! They were so friendly and welcoming, not only to me but also to my furry friend. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our 4-night stay in this charming, ancient building. I loved that we had open access to all the ground floor rooms, it made us feel right at home. The location was perfect for walks in the nearby meadowland, ideal for anyone staying with dogs. The bed was super comfy, the shower was hot and refreshing, and the breakfast cooked by Terry was simply mind-blowing. The guesthouse itself had the most wonderful decor, and it was incredibly clean and cosy. Despite the age of the building, Terry and Lynette had taken great care of it, so there were no issues with uneven floors or narrow staircases. If you're into character-filled buildings, this is the place for you! , Terry was an absolute star and even gave us a lift into the nearby city. I honestly cannot wait to return for another visit. The value for money was great, and I had two of the best nights' sleep here. Plus, they also had free Wi-Fi, free parking, a jacuzzi, a flat-screen TV. They even provided cots for those traveling with little ones and allowed pets on-site. Oh, and for those non-smokers, this place is smoke-free!

our recent getaway to sudbury was surpassed by the warm and inviting stay at a historic marvel. the breakfast spread was exceptional with local delights, the hosts were a delight to converse with, and the preservation of the building was admirable. bridge street historic guest house truly felt like a home away from home.
