We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with lovely rooms that had a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and we were impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The location in the Lake District was ideal, as it was very close to the stunning Lake Windermere. We loved being in such a peaceful and secluded part of the Lake District, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. The breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delicious and made from locally sourced produce. It was a delightful way to start the day, and we were particularly impressed with the vegetarian options available.

Everything was fantastic.

We had an amazing stay at the Inn! the staff were friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. the beds were comfy and the room was well-stocked with tea and coffee. the location was ideal, on a quiet road with easy access to the lakes and nearby shops. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Inn, and the Guinness on tap was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of hot and cold options to choose from. We loved the continental buffet and the full English breakfast. Lots of easy parking available.

The Brown Horse Inn is ideally located in the beautiful Lake District, close to the town centre and with easy access to the Lakes. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a pleasant bathroom and a cozy bed. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options including porridge upon request. The pub itself has a charming atmosphere, making it a lovely place to unwind after a day of exploring.

The pub could benefit from some redecoration to enhance the overall ambiance.

Spent a lovely Easter weekend at this inn. the two things I appreciated the most were the charming and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant and the outstanding quality of the food. the location, surrounded by stunning countryside views, offers the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. the attentive and friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

some aspects of the room were a bit outdated, which made it feel less comfortable and modern than expected. we experienced some difficulty with the temperature control in the shower, which made the experience less pleasant.

The staff were welcoming and had a relaxed approach. The breakfast menu had some unusual choices and was of a high standard. The cooked breakfast was exceptional. The evening meals were delicious, with good wine and beer options. The room was warm, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. The bathroom had a beautiful presentation and a range of different vertical tiles. The room had a good view and was surprisingly quiet despite being close to the road. Ample parking space was available.

Felt immediately at home, no reason to complain.
