We recently had a romantic escape in a charming Yorkshire coaching inn. the food was fantastic, with an extensive menu and great wine selection. Plus, the location was perfect for long walks in the countryside and exploring a nearby town. the room was cozy and quiet, making for a restful stay.

The bathroom was quite small and easily overheated, making it uncomfortable. the TV in the room was too small and lacked adequate seating.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and we cannot recommend it enough. The location by the river was absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room amenities were top-notch, including a lovely terrace where we could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The dining area was also impressive, offering a restaurant and a bar/lounge area where we could unwind after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the free Wi-Fi and parking were much appreciated, making our stay even more convenient.

The hotel was also perfect for families, as it was very accommodating to our needs.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming old property in a picturesque village. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a first-class restaurant that served delicious meals made with local produce. The staff were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The location was ideal for an overnight stop between Scotland and the South East, and being situated by the river added to the overall charm. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel and the quality of the bed linen and towels were exceptional.

We stayed at The Bruce Arms for a bed and breakfast getaway and also had dinner in their restaurant. The room was lovely, with a super comfy bed. The staff provided excellent service, and the food was outstanding. We highly recommend dining at The Bruce Arms, as well as enjoying their fantastic breakfast. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the pub was charming. We appreciated the environmentally-conscious practices in place as well.
