The value for money at Chapel House was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for the railway station and bus routes, and the staff treated us with friendliness and helpfulness.

The staff and management were excellent, really polite and helpful. the breakfast was superb, lots of tasty food options. the room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great shower. Everything was clean and spotless. the security of the hotel was good and the building itself was solidly constructed.

There was no bar or restaurant for dinner, and the promised welcome card items were not available. the self check-in process didn't feel secure, and there were handwritten signs with strict warnings.

I had a wonderful stay at a quirky and smart hotel in Scarborough. The Victorian building added character to the experience. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the en-suite was immaculate. The young man at reception was professional and went out of his way to accommodate my needs. The bar and dining facilities were impressive, although I didn't have breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
