During my recent stay at a lovely inn, I was captivated by the stunning surroundings and amazing amenities on offer. The room layout was fantastic, with plenty of doors and windows that allowed for a refreshing breeze even in the warm weather. I especially loved having a private balcony, which offered a peaceful retreat and a perfect spot to enjoy the picturesque countryside views. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the restaurant's food, which was out of this world in terms of taste and presentation. Situated in the countryside, the inn was also conveniently located with easy access to many interesting places. Although there were a few minor issues, such as a slightly lumpy bed, these were outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive aspects of the stay. I highly recommend this inn for its enchanting location, warm hospitality, and unforgettable dining experience.

The Sunday Carvery Meal is famous and well-deserved. The room was newly furnished and comfortable. Located outside a beautiful area in Yorkshire. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Convenient location with reasonable prices and plenty of parking.

The staff at The Chequers are outstanding, going above and beyond any expectations. Rachel even helped us when we were in a difficult situation. Short taxi ride from the city center, well worth it. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful, even accommodating dietary needs at breakfast. Rooms are comfortable with balconies, perfect for relaxing in the evening sun.

We stayed in a clean and comfortable room at a remote location. The bed was comfy and the en-suite bathroom was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar in the evening had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant had a good menu with locally sourced meats and a carvery on Thursdays to Sundays. Free parking was available and there were chairs and tables to sit outside. It was also mentioned that the Wi-Fi was available in the pub.

Some guests mentioned that the TV signal was poor.

The room lighting was dim with outdated decor. the noise from locals revving their engines outside the ground floor rooms was bothersome at night.

The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The parking was ample, and the location in a quiet out of town area was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were friendly and provided quick and efficient service. The best part was enjoying breakfast in the outdoor seating area during the summer.
