Clean rooms, warm en suite with good shower pressure, comfortable bed. Full English breakfast of good quality, friendly and attentive staff. Traditional pub with character, good beer. Courtyard area for sitting outside. Tasty food in the restaurant, good range of beers in the bar. Fun quiz night. Comfy, spacious and quiet room in the annex. Good size en suite shower with provided toiletries. In-room tea, coffee, and biscuits. Convenient for guests with dogs, as rooms open onto courtyard.

the owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even cooked us pizzas when the kitchen was closed. the size of the room was great and the facilities were top-notch. Coming back to a clean and tidy room after a long day of exploring was a pleasant surprise. the staff and locals were friendly and informative, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the plentiful and delicious breakfast options, including the vegetarian selection and monthly changing vegan menu. the rooms were spacious, warm, and impeccably clean. I also loved the beautifully tended courtyard garden. the location was perfect for us, as it was on a main bus route to Oxford, allowing us to easily visit the city while enjoying a quieter stay. I will definitely be back when I visit Oxford again.

We had a lovely stay at Cherry Tree. The atmosphere was delightful and the full English breakfast was excellent, with a variety of cereal options available. The bed and room were very comfortable, although it took a bit of effort to get a fan. The young lady who assisted us was extremely helpful, although it seemed like she needed to be in multiple places at once. We had a great time at the quiz night and overall enjoyed our experience.

Lovely stay for a romantic escape. The rooms are located in a separate area from the main part of the pub, which gave us more privacy and peace during our stay. The breakfast was amazing, with freshly brewed coffee and a variety of foods to choose from. The nearby parking was very convenient, which saved us a lot of time and effort.

The courtyard rooms were a little noisy, with some smokers sitting outside, but we solved the problem just by closing the window. The decor was a bit dated, but that's just a small detail. this was a perfectly good hotel for our purposes and we would stay there again.

The en suite shower was a good size and the provided toiletries were nice. The in-room tea, coffee, and biscuits were a lovely touch. The breakfast choices were fantastic, with hot options cooked to order. The poached eggs were perfect. the cleanliness and hotel facilities were top-notch.
