The room was very clean and the power shower was great. the couple running the place were friendly and helpful. the food in the pub restaurant was first-class, especially the king prawns which were delicious. the gravy was also tasty.

We had to wait quite a long time for our starters and main courses, and when they finally arrived, the quality was poor. the Yorkshire puddings were almost inedible and the nut roast was not good.

the cherry tree in abingdon-on-thames was a delightful stay. the meals were excellent, and the accommodation was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. the pub had a quaint old-worldy feel, and the staff were happy to help. overall, a lovely country experience that exceeded our expectations.

Noisy road at first.

I had a very comfortable stay at a hotel in the heart of a vibrant town. The room had a unique charm, despite being on a busy road. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this place to others.

the owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even cooked us pizzas when the kitchen was closed. the size of the room was great and the facilities were top-notch. Coming back to a clean and tidy room after a long day of exploring was a pleasant surprise. the staff and locals were friendly and informative, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the plentiful and delicious breakfast options, including the vegetarian selection and monthly changing vegan menu. the rooms were spacious, warm, and impeccably clean. I also loved the beautifully tended courtyard garden. the location was perfect for us, as it was on a main bus route to Oxford, allowing us to easily visit the city while enjoying a quieter stay. I will definitely be back when I visit Oxford again.

We had a lovely stay at Cherry Tree. The atmosphere was delightful and the full English breakfast was excellent, with a variety of cereal options available. The bed and room were very comfortable, although it took a bit of effort to get a fan. The young lady who assisted us was extremely helpful, although it seemed like she needed to be in multiple places at once. We had a great time at the quiz night and overall enjoyed our experience.

Lovely stay for a romantic escape. The rooms are located in a separate area from the main part of the pub, which gave us more privacy and peace during our stay. The breakfast was amazing, with freshly brewed coffee and a variety of foods to choose from. The nearby parking was very convenient, which saved us a lot of time and effort.

The courtyard rooms were a little noisy, with some smokers sitting outside, but we solved the problem just by closing the window. The decor was a bit dated, but that's just a small detail. this was a perfectly good hotel for our purposes and we would stay there again.

It seemed as though there was a lack of skilled chefs in the kitchen. This was particularly evident with a seafood linguine that looked like tinned spaghetti with a few overly cooked prawns.

During our Easter stay, we had a fantastic time at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even provided sandwiches for us to take with us when we left early in the morning. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the fluffy towels. Additionally, the location was perfect, with key attractions and amenities within easy reach.

While overall our stay was enjoyable, we did have a few minor gripes. the bathroom could use some updating as it appeared a bit tired and in need of redecoration.
