We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of the town. The location is perfect, just down from the cathedral and right in the historic center. We were able to see the cathedral as soon as we left the hotel. The room was nice and clean, with a comfy bed and well-laid out en-suite. The hotel staff were friendly and happy to help in any way. We also enjoyed the quaint pub serving good food and the outside terrace with seating. Despite the lack of parking, it was very easy to find public parking within a 2-minute walk. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, friendly staff, and convenient location made our stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed at The City Arms for a short visit to Wells. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring my allergies were taken care of during my stay. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. The restaurant on-site also served fantastic food, making for a convenient dining option.

Room had fans, good beer, and friendly staff. Helpful manageress. Noise from bar downstairs. Food and variety of beers were good. Parking was an issue but found alternative option. would recommend.

As women traveling alone, we loved the convenient location near the city and bus station. The courtyard entrance has a charming Italian vibe. The mozzarella salad in the evening was excellent, and the overall stay was pleasant. The room was clean with functioning facilities, including tea and coffee. Despite being above a pub, we experienced no noise issues, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The staff and locals were friendly and helpful, even assisting us with finding free parking. The pub downstairs had a lovely atmosphere. a great location for exploring the area.

We felt welcomed into the family, with no complaints whatsoever.
