The hotel is in a great location, very close to a pizza shop and a bustling public house. There are also sheds, garages, and back streets nearby, providing a unique charm. The views of the bay are simply stunning, making for a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, while the bathrooms are also well-maintained. The friendly staff provide excellent service, and the breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

One downside is that the car park used by the public can be noisy and busy, especially with the late-night opening of the nearby public house. It would be beneficial for the hotel to have gates to prevent unauthorized access near the cars, as there have been incidents of damage to vehicles in the past.

Heating difficult to regulate.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly welcome we received at Clarendon. The receptionist had a genuine smile and made us feel right at home. Our room had a lovely view of the beach, and the bed was so comfortable with a firm mattress. The en-suite facilities were spotless and in perfect working condition. We were thrilled to find a hospitality tray in the room, which was a nice touch. The hotel's location was convenient, right by the beach and close to popular attractions like The Platform. We also appreciated the easy access to public transportation. Breakfast was cooked to order and absolutely delicious, with generous portions. Despite a minor issue with the shower during our stay, the staff quickly resolved the problem and ensured our comfort. we had a fantastic experience at Clarendon and would highly recommend it.

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at this hotel and had a fantastic time! The staff, led by Jackie, were incredibly helpful and made sure everything was perfect for our celebration. The newly renovated hotel is fresh and tasteful, with nicely decorated rooms that offer a gorgeous seafront view. The location right on the coastal road promenade is ideal, and having a car park available for free is a great bonus. The value for money was impressive, with reasonable prices for both the rooms and the bar. The breakfast, with the option to have the meat removed, was delicious, especially the smoked bacon. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning views, friendly staff, and attention to detail.

The location was fantastic, right next to the beautiful long bay, perfect for walks. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond even when we arrived late at night. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and the rooms were clean and cozy. The reception staff were exceptional and provided us with a map to help us navigate the town.
