As a solo traveler, I always worry about feeling out of place at a couples retreat, but at Claymore, there was a great mix of people staying. The staff provided warm and wonderful advice on walks and drives. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. Can't recommend this place enough!

The location of the hotel is prime, being right across from a lovely little park and in a picturesque village. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a neat bathroom and a walk-in shower. The service provided by the staff was warm and friendly, with helpful suggestions for activities in the area. The breakfast served in the large conservatory had gorgeous views and was accompanied by nice warming sunlight.

There could be more character in the room to make it cozier and more inviting.

The self-catering apartment was modern and well-equipped, with a beautiful setting and thoughtful touches like pre-heated heating. Fantastic proximity to town center and all amenities. Truly a perfect 10/10 stay!

The hotel also went above and beyond by adding two champagne glasses to my room after noticing that I had brought a bottle of prosecco to celebrate with.
