The variety and quality of the breakfast at this hotel exceeded my expectations, with fresh berries and fruit standing out as exceptional. the host was very welcoming, helpful, and made my stay enjoyable. My only suggestion for improvement would be to provide tea facilities in the room for added convenience.

The decoration of the house was simply charming, with cozy corners perfect for sitting and chatting with a cup of tea. the communal areas were easily accessible for older guests like me, allowing for a pleasant and relaxing stay without any hindrances for the senior visitors.

Separate guest accommodation with three rooms and two bathrooms. Comfy beds, huge bathroom with great shower, and provided toiletries. Friendly owner greeted us with tea and cakes on arrival. Delicious high-quality breakfast with fresh fruit salad. Great base for exploring beautiful mid-Wales.

Staying at the Clochfaen in Llangurig with my 10-month-old daughter was a delightful experience. the characterful building's history shines through, complemented by the enthusiastic owners' efforts. the breakfast, especially the fresh berries and hearty cooked options, was outstanding, and the view of the valley from the front was breathtaking. the welcoming host made us feel right at home, and having ground floor rooms with a little one was very convenient. We also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the nearby Blue Bell, where we indulged in delicious meals recommended by locals. the communal areas were comfortable, and the breakfast selection exceeded expectations, providing a great start to our days exploring the Welsh hills. the relaxed atmosphere and spacious accommodation, along with the quirky interior, added to the charm of this unique venue. the host, Kevin, was helpful and engaging, providing valuable insights on the area's landmarks for a memorable family bonding experience.

Spent a wonderful New Year's Eve at this charming country retreat. The hosts welcomed us with a hot cup of tea and delicious snacks, despite our late arrival. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast with plenty of options before starting our day of hiking. The fresh towels were appreciated after a long day outside.

The shared bathroom was a bit inconvenient, but as we were the only guests during our stay, it wasn't much of an issue. The directions to the hotel could be more detailed, but we managed to find it with a quick phone call. All in all, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in the beautiful countryside.

Enjoyed hiking and cycling in the area, loved the shared lounge and free WiFi. The continental breakfast was delicious and I couldn't get enough of the garden view. Laundry facilities were a bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at Clochfaen Bed & Breakfast. the property was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to truly relax and unwind. the double room with its large en suite bathroom was beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the entire place was spotlessly clean, which we greatly appreciated. Kevin, the proprietor, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. His breakfasts were absolutely amazing, with a delicious variety of fresh fruit followed by a hearty full English breakfast. We were even greeted with tea and cake upon arrival, and Kevin kindly offered us lifts during our stay. the location was a great base for exploring the stunning surroundings of Wales.

Had a fantastic New Year's stay! the host was amazing, welcoming us with freshly brewed coffee and delicious homemade cupcakes. the rooms were clean and spacious, with comfy beds including electric blankets! the location was ideal, surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to Devil's Bridge and the Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre. the highlight was the breakfast, which was absolutely huge and kept us going until dinner time.

If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the bedroom was a bit dark.
