The hotel had excellent food, with a tasty breakfast and lunch that was locally sourced. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The location was perfect, close to Moors Valley for Segway rides and not far from the charming town. Additionally, being next to the pub and sports ground was a plus.

The breakfast variety was incredible, with a unique Spanish omelette. Room no. 5 was stylish with a fantastic bed. Snacks from the restaurant were tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The Compasses Inn is a great place for young people to stay, with spacious rooms that can accommodate families of four. The rooms are kept very clean, and the staff do a fantastic job of cleaning them daily. The friendly and helpful staff, including the owner, go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. The food at the pub is delicious, with plenty of options for breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming country pub. The location couldn't have been better, right next door to a dog-friendly pub and surrounded by beautiful attractions. The room was lovely, with comfy bedding and a pleasant view. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff, especially Georgia. The breakfast was delicious and the facilities were excellent, including self-catering options. It truly was a delightful break in the countryside.

I did notice a slight doggy smell in the room, which could be off-putting for some.

Its location right on the edge of the New Forest makes it a perfect base for exploring the nearby attractions. Plus, being right next door to the pub adds to the convenience and charm of the stay. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, ensuring that basic amenities are well taken care of. The rooms are comfortable, with a chair in the bedroom and a shower in the en-suite bathroom. I also appreciated the nice selection of toiletries provided. Another pleasant surprise was the music continuing well after 11 pm, creating a lively atmosphere.

Had a wonderful New Year’s Eve at a cosy Inn in the heart of a beautiful English village. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the town square where we enjoyed the fireworks. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the countryside. We loved the friendly staff and the excellent service. One of the best aspects of our stay was the amazing breakfast, which included a range of delicious options that were cooked to perfection.

That the walls were a bit thin and we could hear some noise from other guests, but this wasn’t a major issue for us. the menu at the restaurant was limited, but we found some great options off the specials board.
