I had a wonderful stay at this charming inn. The room I stayed in, Partridge room, was exceptionally clean and modern, with a comfortable King bed and an impressive walk-in rainfall shower. The bathroom was just as impressive and the shower was a highlight of my stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious food and the beer selection was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was equally delightful, with a great selection and attentive service. The hotel also offered free on-site parking, which was a convenient bonus. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as limited storage in the room and a noisy sash window, the overall experience was fantastic. The staff were apologetic and responsive to any issues that arose. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I had a great stay and would love to return.

The hotel is located in a prime spot, right in the centre of town, making it convenient to explore the nearby attractions. The garden, with its beautiful flowers and greenery, created a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. The restaurant offered a wide range of delicious dishes, prepared with utmost care and attention. The rooms were tastefully decorated and had luxurious amenities, including fresh milk for tea and top-quality toiletries.

One downside was the noise from the street, especially when the nearby bars emptied out. The secondary glazing, although present, was not effective enough in keeping the noise at bay.

The friendly staff served us promptly and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu had a great selection and the beers and wines offered were top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the pleasant ambiance, and it was a reasonable price as well. If you're visiting Tavistock, I highly recommend trying the food at this popular inn.

While our stay was mostly enjoyable, we did experience some noise disturbance during dinner due to a loud party at a nearby table. Despite being asked to lower their volume, the management did not intervene, which affected the atmosphere and our ability to converse.
