As longer term business travellers, we appreciated the well-cooked dinner and breakfast. The pub was bustling, possibly due to the Tuesday fish and chip offer. The staff were friendly and the small room was nicely decorated and clean.

The food in the restaurant was exceptional, with beautifully presented dishes bursting with flavor. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, especially considering my mobility challenges. I was truly impressed by the level of hospitality and care I received. I highly recommend this inn for a perfect getaway experience.

My recent stay at the charming inn was a delight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with low beamed ceilings and a lovely thatched exterior. The pub had a unique and quirky feel that added to the overall experience. The location was perfect, surrounded by picturesque surroundings that were ideal for walkers. The staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The beer garden was a highlight, providing a great space to relax and enjoy a drink, especially on a sunny day.

Although there were a couple of drawbacks, such as thin walls and some noise from the pub, these were minor inconveniences that didn't significantly impact my overall enjoyment. The food at the pub was hit and miss, with some dishes like the beer-battered cod being delicious, while others like the bitter burger and grit-filled salad falling short.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming historic inn. The building itself was full of character and had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had a unique charm with its wonky features. The food at the inn was absolutely delicious and made with care and attention to detail. I especially enjoyed the Sunday roast and sampling the local ciders and ale. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I was especially impressed with Rachel, who volunteered to help with my laundry and had it washed, dried, folded, and returned to me by the evening. The inn also had good heating and ventilation, which ensured a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. Despite the bustling Saturday night, the staff managed the crowd well, although it did result in a wait for a table for a pre-dinner drink. The inn could benefit from soundproofing in the rooms, as noise from the live music and other guests could be heard. Additionally, the tea and coffee sachets in the room were not restocked daily, leading to running out by the third day. However, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise delightful stay. I highly recommend this inn for its hospitality, ambrosial food, and unique ambiance.
