The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. Its location just outside of the center of Camelford is ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as Tintagel Castle, which is just a short drive down the hill. The rooms, including those with a newly renovated bathroom, are well-maintained and come with basic amenities. The highlight of the stay is the excellent breakfast, which includes locally sourced ingredients and even offers the option of beans on toast.

We had an amazing time at the Countryman Hotel! the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and comfortable stay. the beds were incredibly comfy and the location was perfect for visiting Tintagel castle and Widemouth Bay's beach for surfing. the hotel was cozy and welcoming, making us feel at home. Suzanne and Kevin, the hosts, were friendly, helpful, and provided a scrumptious homemade breakfast. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for a fantastic long weekend getaway!

During our stay at the Countryman, we were impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel, from the rooms to the bathrooms. The new windows were easy to use, and the photocell lights in the corridors and stairs were excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated having tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Although the hotel is situated on a hill, which might pose challenges for those with mobility issues, we found the location convenient for exploring the area.

The hosts were warm and helpful, offering tips for our visits to Boscastle, Tintagel, and Trebarwith Strand. Our room was clean and spacious, with all necessary amenities provided, including a vintage built-in radio and a TV. The breakfast served was delicious, with a full English option tailored to our preferences. The attention to detail and cleanliness throughout the hotel truly stood out.
