We loved the large and comfortable room, along with the spacious bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was freshly made and served hot, and we appreciated the selection of newspapers available during breakfast. The hotel had a great location on a main road, with plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. We enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby shops and bars as well.

The room at County Hotel was beautifully decorated with a vintage country style, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. our recent stay in hexham exceeded our expectations, thanks to county! everything from the spacious and spotless room to the friendly staff and delicious breakfast was top-notch. the hotel's charming decor and great location added to the fantastic experience. we're already planning a return trip with the kids.

Looking for a great place to eat in the area? The County Hotel is conveniently located within short walking distance from the railway station, making it easily accessible. The restaurant at the hotel is amazing, serving delicious food with a good selection of drinks. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with little extras like bottled water, toiletries, and a generous hospitality tray. We also enjoyed a tasty breakfast with plenty of choice.

One minor downside was the occasional noise from the main road and downstairs bar, which might disturb light sleepers.

We stumbled upon a lively pub in the center of town, bustling with locals and visitors. The atmosphere was amazing, and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. The pub downstairs was crowded, but it added to the vibrant ambiance. We look forward to trying out somewhere new to eat when we return to the area.

Some staff members appeared a bit unfriendly and not very accommodating. They were unable to provide us with an early take-away breakfast and check-out, despite us pre-warning them of our ultra event.

Food was a big let-down. Although promised fresh and tasty, the breakfast and dinner were very underwhelming and lacked flavour.
