I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was particularly impressed with the 3-course evening meal and breakfast options. The rooms were nicely furnished and the bed was exceptionally comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep.

had an amazing stay at a lovely pub in saffron walden for a wedding celebration. staff were super friendly and went above and beyond, even providing transportation to the venue. the room was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. the food was delicious and reasonably priced. highly recommend!

They were very accommodating and patient, especially with the young children attending my sister's wedding reception at the venue. the food was great and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue for any special event or a relaxing stay.

As a group of friends and trekkers, we recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming village pub. The location was perfect, nestled in a quaint residential neighborhood surrounded by beautiful farmland and countryside, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. The staff were exceptionally helpful, even going above and beyond by providing us with a delicious Sunday evening meal when the restaurant was usually closed.

We decided to stay at a pub on the outskirts of a quiet village for our weekend getaway. The rooms were basic, but the location was perfect for attending the Standon Calling festival nearby. The staff were polite and friendly, and the breakfast, though a bit slow, was delicious. Despite the lack of drink purchasing options, the pub had a cosy atmosphere.

The WiFi and mobile network were extremely poor, making it difficult to stay connected.

This hotel is super close to Stansted airport, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The rooms have king-size beds and great en-suite showers, providing a comfortable and refreshing stay. Plus, the free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms is a great bonus.

All was just fine, nothing to complain about.

The room was comfortable and the decor had a modern and classic feel. I really enjoyed the vintage style DAB radio and the fully stocked mini bar. The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, surrounded by farmland and countryside. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

The staff at the Cricketers Arms were absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They made me feel welcome and took care of all my needs, from check-in to dining.

Although there were a few minor issues with the hotel, such as the carpets needing a good clean, I was easily able to overlook them because of the wonderful service and cozy atmosphere. The pub food was delicious, and I enjoyed the quaint village setting.

The staff were helpful when someone fell down the steps. The breakfast was nice. The area where the hotel is located is beautiful. The bar snack was good. The staff were welcoming and made guests feel comfortable.

During my Xmas stay, I found the location of the hotel to be very convenient. I enjoyed the large and comfortable room, as well as the traditional atmosphere in the dining room and bar area. the food menu offered both traditional Pub food and international entrees, which were all prepared and presented very nicely.

There were some negative aspects that impacted my experience. the room looked a bit old-fashioned and needed some TLC, particularly the bathroom, which had a few cracks and outdated elements.
