I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Crown Inn in Bishops Waltham. The rooms were lovely, with a charming and quirky decor that added to the unique character of the hotel. Despite being an old property, the bedrooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. I particularly loved the Trafalgar theme in the rooms. The atmosphere of the inn was great, and the historic building with changes in floor levels added to its charm. The location was perfect, with the palace ruins and other attractions within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience for guests. And to top it off, the food was delicious, especially the breakfast.

There were a few minor maintenance issues with the window frames and sills, and some dust in the air in the room. Also, the limited choice on the menu for meals was a downside.

We had an incredible experience at The Crown Inn. The location was perfect for us, as we could easily walk to the shops and explore the charming town. Plus, being right opposite the Bishop's Palace allowed us to take in the fascinating history of the area. The room exceeded our expectations, with a comfortable and spacious layout. The bathroom was luxurious, boasting a roll top bath and a separate shower. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, as they were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfasts were a real highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.

I must mention that the lack of milk in the room for a morning cup of tea was a minor inconvenience.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right opposite the Bishop's Palace and close to the ruined Bishop's Palace. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. it was a pleasant experience staying at this hotel.

The staff, including Chris, Chloe, Jai, and Marie. The breakfast had a great selection of hot drinks, juices, and both continental and cooked options. The hotel had ample parking space and a nice atmosphere.
