The Derby Hotel in Barrow was great value for money, with clean and tidy rooms and plenty of tea and coffee facilities. The location was ideal for a night out, and the staff, especially Gary and Melissa, provided excellent customer service. Plus, they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of prosecco and orange juice for me, being pregnant.

The breakfast choices could be improved with a wider variety of options.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. They even showed me around the facilities and my room. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was clean and a perfect size. The hotel also had a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely sitting room where I could relax. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city center and very close to the train station. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff were top-notch.

We had a great time staying at this hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming, showing us to our room and highlighting the facilities available. The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean, spacious, and had a pleasant neutral decoration. We were pleasantly surprised to be given a double room instead of the single we had booked, providing us with extra space. The hotel was conveniently located in the center of town, making it easy for us to explore the Lake District. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, allowing us to prepare our own meals, and the help-yourself breakfast with free bread, muesli, tea. We also appreciated the plenty of towels provided throughout our stay.

They even allowed guests to prepare their own breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking available nearby and a variety of good restaurants right next to the hotel. The lady who showed us to our room was fantastic, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort.
