We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was top-notch, and the bathroom was warm and inviting. The hotel facilities were impressive, with attention to detail in the decor and fit-out. It was evident that the hotel had recently been renovated, as the new carpets throughout were a nice touch. The location was perfect for us, allowing easy access to both Sheffield and the northern Peak District. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff even accommodated our request to have it earlier than usual. The food overall was superb, with a varied menu and professional waiting staff and chefs. The friendly and welcoming staff made us feel like friends rather than just guests.

the Devonshire Arms exceeded my expectations in every way. the room was incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed, with double aspect windows that allowed for breathtaking views. the restaurant offered an excellent selection of dishes, and the staff were not only kind, but also incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, my husband fell ill during our stay and had to spend a night in the hospital. the staff showed so much compassion and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and well-being. They even provided us with sandwiches and coffee for our journey back home. I couldn't have asked for better service. the Devonshire Arms truly deserves its reputation as a first-class establishment.

The room I stayed in was modern and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious, and the evening meals were exceptional. The hotel also had a bar where you could relax and enjoy a drink.

There was an event happening in the bar on the night I arrived, and it went on longer than expected. As a result, there were no spare seats available, and I had to drink in my room before dinner.

Our Christmas stay at this hotel was filled with joy and festive cheer. the first aspect we loved was the beautiful room we were assigned. It was spacious, well-decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of Christmas festivities. the location of the hotel couldn't have been better. It was conveniently situated near all the main attractions, making it easy for us to explore the city. the staff were also friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

There were a couple of negatives that slightly dampened our experience. the check-in process was a bit slow and disorganized, causing some frustration upon our arrival.

The pillows were a little hard, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the room was quite hot as we were unable to open the window.
