Nothing to complain about at all

The hotel is really close to the station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a large, comfy bed. The breakfast provided was extensive and superb. The bar staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The hotel staff failed to provide proper service during a late check-in, leaving us stranded outside for 15 minutes with a child.

our stay at the duke of edinburgh hotel & bar exceeded all our expectations! the room was immaculate, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the staff provided exceptional service and quickly resolved any issues we had. the sunday roast was absolutely delicious and offered great value for money. we will definitely make this our go-to hotel in barrow-in-furness from now on.

We loved the recently renovated hotel with its perfect blend of original features and modern amenities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and Tara on reception went above and beyond to help us when we encountered transport problems. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, with Karen providing excellent service and the food being absolutely delicious. The hotel's location in the center of town made it convenient for exploring, with parking nearby and shops within walking distance. a lovely stay with a comfy room and a great night's sleep.

Madison, the receptionist, went above and beyond to assist me when I lost my car keys. She was incredibly helpful and considerate throughout my entire stay. The hotel itself was lovely, and I would definitely return if I were in the area again. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a great spot, near enough to everywhere we wanted to be but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the room was really comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. We also enjoyed the cooked breakfast which came with a nice variety of options like eggs, toast, and bacon.

The customer service was lacking, which put a damper on our romantic escape. the staff seemed distracted and more interested in chatting with each other than helping us.
